Principal's Message

Hello Eastbluff Families!

Welcome to Eastbluff Elementary!  Our theme this year is Kindness and we are spreading kindness like confetti as we show our Eastbluff PRIDE! Our staff remains committed to our mission of offering a rigorous instructional program, which is both academically challenging and rewarding for ALL students.  Additionally, we work to support the social and emotional aspect of our students through the implementation of our PBIS system and a strong focus on Eastbluff PRIDE, being Prepared, Respectful, having Integrity, Being Determined and showing Excellence. 

We are continuing to implement two new programs in language arts (Wonders) and mathematics (Bridges TK-5th and Illustrative Math in 6th), as well as Thinking Maps as part of our writing program, Write from the Beginning and Beyond! We are also excited to introduce our Otterspace Innovation Lab!  This is a creative space where students work together to collaborate, problem solve, innovate, and create through our hands on STEAM activities!  This lab is focused on science, technology, art, and science!  We are also utilizing Chromebooks and iPads throughout the campus to enhance student learning and 21st Century skills.

In an effort to keep effective communication between home and school please read the information sent to you through our Monday Packets sent each Monday on Blackboard and the Schoolloop Website messages.  In addition, our PTA and EDADs websites are great sources of information. I encourage you to follow Eastbluff Elementary on Facebook in order to see firsthand the great learning taking place at Eastbluff. 

We are so fortunate to have such an active and supportive community!  Parents of Eastbluff students are actively involved in the education of their children. They work in the classroom and participate in our PTA and EDADs events. Parents can take a leadership roles by participating in the School Site Council, the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), and/or the Eastbluff Foundation (EDads). Through the efforts of our parents, we have a school that is able to provide excellent enrichment in the areas of art, technology, primary physical education, innovation lab and more.
